Traditional Elegance Over the Years
Sailmaker Steve Sperry crafted the first authentic sailcloth tent when he began Sperry Tent Rentals some 30 years ago. Today a second generation of sail makers continues to create the same quality, artistic, one-of-a-kind tents to transform your event into a signature event.
Sperry Fabric Architecture (SFA) handcrafts Sperry Tent Rentals in the company’s post-and-beam manufacturing facility in coastal Massachusetts. Still family-owned and –operated, Steve Sperry’s sons, Matt and Tim Sperry, lead SFA and Sperry Tent Rentals respectively.
For a family rooted in New England and bound to the sea , the Sperry’s spent three years circumnavigating the world on a sailboat, it is simply second-nature to focus on Yankee ingenuity, making a quality tent by hand in a traditional way.
When you see a Sperry Tent, you’ll undoubtedly notice the difference immediately. Still made out of authentic sailcloth, each Sperry Tent has polished wood center poles, most of which are formed out of spruce at an historic 1930s sawmill.
The ultimate in tent rental, traditional Sperry Tent Rentals are offered in all shapes and sizes to accommodate the most intimate events to the largest outdoor ballrooms.
Showcased in the regional and national press, the reputation and the artistry of Sperry Tent Rentals are unsurpassed when considering the planning of your next signature event.
