A Countryside Wedding At Martha Stewart’s House
This past summer we had the distinct pleasure of working with some of New York’s most talented wedding specialists on an event to remember at Martha Stewart’s sprawling countryside home in Bedford, NY. Celebrating the marriage of Martha’s nephew Christopher Hebert and his longtime love Timothy Long, our Sperry Tent provided some welcomed shade and a relaxed ambiance for the garden party themed event. Guests spread out on blankets with oversized throw pillows and picnic baskets, enjoyed lawn games, and danced to the ‘20s-style jazz band.
The weather was absolutely perfect for this intimate celebration. Blues skies eventually gave way to a starry night as guests migrated under the sailcloth canopy of the 46’x65’ tent. String lights, carefully woven throughout the tent, exuded an elegant glow late into the warm September evening.
The wedding consultants worked closely together, and with the newly wedded couple, to create a truly perfect summer wedding. Many thanks to Matt Murphy of Matt Murphy Event Lighting, Ann David and Nicky Reinhard of David Reinhard Events, David Stark of David Stark Design and Production, Peter Callahan of Callahan Catering, and a special thanks to Martha Stewart Weddings.
