Prout’s Neck Wedding Perfection

If you haven’t heard of Prout’s Neck, Maine it is actually a coastal peninsula that is situated within the town of Scarborough! It is a place we have been frequenting for quite a few years now and is an incredible wedding venue location! Laura and Carl hired the ever so talented Brea McDonald who said, “Prouts Neck is one of those quintessential, timeless coastal Maine communities that you just fall in love with! And it was the PERFECT setting for Laura and Carl’s wedding weekend. From the shingled chapel, the navy blazers, custom lobster monogram and Laura’s heirloom veil their wedding day was straight out of New England look book! “ You can read up on Brea’s blog here.

Laura and Carl had a drop dead GORGEOUS reception by water! Can you imagine dining with those ocean views – too good! Thanks to Kitchen Chicks were sure the view wasn’t the only thing the guests were talking about during dinner!

Be sure to take note of Laura’s dress- what a cool switch up from ceremony to reception!

You’ll Clearly See Why We Love Clear Top Tents!

This past May we took a little trip over to Lebanon, Maine to set up for Evan and Emilia’s big day! The talented photographer Dani M Towle took so many great shots of our clear top tent we could not wait to share! She actually wrote a nice blog on it linked here if you’d like to read more or care to see more images!

Dani listed three of her favorite things about this day… and guess what was number one?! THE TENT. Quoted here – Dani said “ The tent! I have NEVER seen a clear tent before. It was a little nerve-racking because I wasn’t sure how the lighting would be, but it was amazing! All of the little details she had went so well with the clear tent. She had clear signs, clear invitations, clear shoes…Emilia was all over it. “

This day looked like a blast and it was so amazing guests were able to enjoy the scenery all night long thanks to that clear top! Actually, guests had quite the experience this night considering Emilia had Pizza by Fire & The Marshmallow Cart for catering! Love that!!! Enjoy the photos below – thanks for choosing Sperry!

Showing Bristol, Maine how Sperry gets it done!

Looking back on this August day is getting us SO excited for our August wedding photos to roll in! Katheryn and Nathaniel got married in Maine and had the lovely Siobhan Bogle of Maine Tinker Photography  there to capture the day! We love when couples pay tribute to their family and history and these two did just that by choosing for their get ready site and ceremony site to be at their family farm house in Bristol, Maine. They headed to  The Bradley Inn where one of our sailcloth tents was set up for a night of fun!

The Bradley Inn  took care of all catering as well as the bar and the incredible planning and design team from  Maine Seasons Events coordinated everything to flow seamlessly. There were so many cool design plans incorporated into this day including the seating chart full of place cards displayed on shutters!

We can’t NOT mention how incredible the night shot Siobhan got of our tent glowing is. So please scroll through to the end and see some of the amazing photographs taken from this day!

Thanks for choosing Sperry, Katheryn and Nathaniel! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness

A Venue Perfect for Many Occasions!

Ever heard of Vinegar Hill Music Theatre? “ A gracious, historic barn, Vinegar Hill is an intimate venue that provides entertainers with a superlative, vibrant setting to showcase their talents. Featuring a variety of genres, like cabaret, classical, rock, folk, and blues, Vinegar Hill Music Theatre resides in the former Arundel Barn Playhouse, a timber barn known as the Smith Sister’s Farm. Located in an area of Kennebunkport’s Arundel, historically known as Vinegar Hill, the venue’s name honors that history.” This venue is one of the many places we frequent in Maine!

We set up a tent here for a colorful Bar Mitzvah for Joey! This day was coordinated and planned by the amazing Lani Toscano who handled the florals as well. Without Siobhan of Maine Tinker Photography we wouldn’t have these incredible shots to look at! This venue was the perfect home for our sailcloth set up that dinner took place under! Shout out to Kitchen Chicks for always dishing out some tasty meals. We loved the drink selections including Maine Blueberry Lemonade, Lemony Snickets (Sprite w grenadine and lime), and Tango Mango ( orange crush with mango and cherry) YUM — nice and refreshing for a hot sunny day!

CAROLYN + JOHNNY

The knot just featured an article on reasons to get married in Maine! “Wild and wonderful, Maine is overflowing with natural beauty. We frequent Maine a lot for the various locations we put up tents and we have to agree! Maine is simply gorgeous and we are lucky to have had our sailcloths set up all over this beautiful state! Carolyn and Johnny celebrated at one of our favorite spots in Maine, Wells Reserve at Laudholm!

Maine Wedding Venue & Tent Setup on the Ocean

A Maine Wedding We Think Will Be A “Main” Source of Inspiration For Many!

Maine Wedding Venue & Tent Setup on the Ocean

This past July, Sperry Tents Seacoast got to set up on the coast of Maine and we are still looking back on the photos from this day! A beautiful venue right on the shoreline in Kennebunk, our sailcloth tent was set up and decorated by the lovely team at Azalea Events. Audrey put together this stunning design – we love the all white vibes and how beautiful they look with the hardwood floor we put down!

Audrey worked with Michelle, of Minka Flowers and each table was adorned with beautiful white roses but let’s not skip over that gorgeous entry way! As if the tent wasn’t enough of a statement the drapes and florals really complete the look!

One of the best photographers in the industry was there to capture the day, special shout out to Brea Mcdonald Photography for all of the shots!
